Five days is enough for a rewarding first look at Bali if you split your time well. This is the plan we suggest most often.

Days one to three: Ubud

Base yourself in Ubud for rice terraces, water temples and craft villages. Hire a driver for a full day of sightseeing and keep one afternoon free for a spa or a cooking class.

Days four and five: the south

Move south for beaches and sunsets. Visit Uluwatu temple in the late afternoon and stay for the Kecak dance as the sun goes down.

Getting around

Traffic can be slow, so a private driver is the easiest way to travel. Keep daily plans simple and avoid crossing the island more than once.

Make it yours

Add a sunrise trek, a day on the Nusa islands or extra nights in a pool villa. We will shape the plan around how you like to travel.
